On my 2011 D4 xs, i am a bit unsure about what can and cant be enabled? i have been told-
Timed climate
4x4 info
voice recognition
Is there anything else that can be "switched on" with no other mods?.
I am not scared of any mechanical mods but don't have a good time with electrickery  . would like to fit almost everything my RRS had and more eventually. Things like reverse camera and remote heat but realise these need extra parts. For the mo i would just like to get everything possible "switched on"

Yes, that can all be switched on. You can run a camera cable direct from the rear to the front or get the extra LR cables to connect it up. Bodsys Brake Bible

Thanks guys, I had already sent Adrian (wiggs) a pm last night because i think he is the closest (only just on the wrong side of the hills) but was unsure if anything else can be magic'd on? may get a camera sorted as it can get a bit cosy in my garage at times  Previous Discos

Is there a list on the forum somewhere that also shows what can be switched on in the CCF file of a D3. ?
I have done a quick search and came to no real result.
I know about 4x4 screen, but is there anything else worth doing

Chris, on my last D3 (07 se) i had the 4x4 info switched on, earlier model can have the clock in the instruments like on the later models and also stuff like nav on the move etc. Previous Discos

Cheers guys,
I have managed to switch on 4x4 and rear lights on the key fob button great for me as there is no streetlights where i live.
The Clock in the interment cluster sound good to, ill have to have a look for the option.
Any more?
I found enable horn on alarm or something like that, turned it on and nothing extra happened when the alarm sounded so not sure if that one worked

I see that will be why then. The alarm is very quiet to.
I also tried to change the wheel size, it didn't like that. original where smaller than 20" that are on it now.
I had to put it back though as it gave me a load of warning lights

Unplug the BBS in the box with the master cylinder.
This uses the cars horns for the alarm, which are much much louder than the sounder
And annoys the  out of the neighbours, when you have a faulty bonnet switch  My D3 Build Thread

Ill have to give that a go. I had a Volvo v50 and that had the loudest factory horn i have ever heard, in fact it had two.

Chris, had Sat Nav on the go done on my D3, could have also had 3 flash indicators & clock to near speedo, not sure if any more stuff. Paul.
