suspension hiss compressor exhaust pipe hole

Don't know if this has already been discussed somewhere else. I searched as usual but didn't find anything specific so I thought to post my "how to".
My disco usually hisses when levelling. I liked this "truck like" noise so didn't bother discovering the reason.
Now my disco is going to forum member Francidisco3 and he doesn't like that noise so I had to do the repair.
I removed the rear left wheel and found a puncture (or a hole) in the compressor exhaust pipe. This is due to the EPB cable rubbing against it.

the solution is simple as the pipe is 10mm
I had to cut the hose

to remove the worn elbow

then I assembled a quick coupler like the one shown here

fitted the coupler to replace the removed pipe section after a good clean and the job is done

now sadly no more hisses TIR-like Big Cry
Thumbs Up
