Quite a few on here have the Ctek models. I have the mxs 10 with a comfort connector which makes life a lot easier as the connection is located in the front grill so I don't even have to lift the bonnet.

There is a lead available in the site shop that lets you connect through the towing electrical socket if that's any help.

Definitely recommend the ctek from personal use.

So to do an upgrade to v8 brakes i need v8 discs and pads and carriers. If i buy trw calipper carriers for a v8, will this fit to mine? Are fitting of ther carriers the same?

The ctek may cause a few issues if you're trying to use it for the v8 brake upgrade. Better to use standard socket set.
