In my experience, they aren't poor.
You need the diagrams from the correct model year, there were significant changes to wiring for the 2007 model year.
Not entirely sure what you have a problem with as your rant/question is all in one big sentence.
If a wire is missing on your car then that would presumably because it is part of the heated seat spec which you are trying to retrofit?! 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti
Any issues with the site let me know!

Looking at topix I need to be registered to see the wiring diagrams, and to resister I need to be part of a automotive buissness?
Is this correct, what have other 'private' users done?

As in the disco 3 search box? I have tried that without finding anything (apart from a few dead links, and one current one but that was for a workshop manual) or do you mean something else?
Cheers

TopIx access is restricted to subscribers. Payup or find someone who has paid and is willing to give you access. Simples... LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.
