Wirring schematics

Why are the discovery 3 wirring diagrams so poor ? I've got the cd the Haynes manual & even help from this site, well rant over if any one can help this is where I am heated seats wirring loom to the module the part I can't get my head around is the green and white linked wires go to the main fuse box and power to left power to right but the the diagram is showing me battery wire to central junction box and I've not got that wire ? In my experience, they aren't poor.

You need the diagrams from the correct model year, there were significant changes to wiring for the 2007 model year.

Not entirely sure what you have a problem with as your rant/question is all in one big sentence.

If a wire is missing on your car then that would presumably because it is part of the heated seat spec which you are trying to retrofit?!

Hi Martian thanks for the reply this is where I am at elements in seats wiring from seats to n/s o/s corner trims I've got the module and the plug with the wires on but diagram says I require feed from f7 main fuse linked green & white wires and then another feed from internal fuse box then the thermistor wires link together & all plug in but where ? Wish I had never started lol

Thanks I must be thick lol as I am fitting from scratch none of the wiring is there, and the diagram I am following shows the thermistor wires are connected and then go into the module but like the second power feed it doesn't show were they go into the module every thing else is connected ( should of brought a hse) any help would be apretiated in this area many thanks, ps I found putting the wiring in for my fog lights a easy job & the auto lights & washers were plug in the parts & Geoff turned on @ Peterborough when he & Pete blanked the egrs, landrovers you just can't stop playing Whistle

I was just reading the bit that comes up about registering ........ No mention of costs..... Yet...

Registration

The following conditions must be met:

· You are the duly authorised owner principal or manager of an independent automotive service or repair business working on your own behalf or as a duly incorporated partnership or corporate body, directly or indirectly qualifying for lawful access to repair and maintenance information;

· You will fully and accurately complete the online registration form and forward it to JLR. You warrant the accuracy and will be responsible for any loss or damage arising from any inaccuracies
