This may seem a dumb question, but can someone confirm that there is a footwell vent on the drivers side?
I have noticed that I don't get any cool/warm air on the drivers side when the controls are directing the air down to the footwell. Seems it does however come through on the passenger side.
Unless there is a way of shutting this off that I have not found and need to open? I did have a look around but couldn't see anything obvious. MY2012 D4 HSE Nara Bronze with some extra stuff

Yeah I have seen that, nothing comes out of that either. So these isn't a mechanism to shut off the normal vents? Assume I have a problem then. MY2012 D4 HSE Nara Bronze with some extra stuff

When a mate of mine was putting in a load of wiring for fridge, CB, etc, etc, etc, he had the footwell apart and found out that the footwell vents hadn't been connected up in the factory. Maybe the same lazy sod was working the day your car went down the line?

So... just been outside again, to have a good look around. Stuck the fans on full blast, switched it to screen, then screen and face level, then switched those off and put it to foot well... and guess what, air came blasting out. Very strange.
Can only assume the mechanical components that are moved to route the air in whichever direction may have been a bit stuck, clearly not now! Resolved... maybe until the next time.
Thanks for the replies. MY2012 D4 HSE Nara Bronze with some extra stuff

Set the vents to manual rather than Auto and set it to blow out the footwell only, turn the fan to max and if nothing comes out then, then it either a step-motor on the ventilation or as DSL states they weren't connected.
Edit:
too slow to click submit LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.
