| Daylight Running and caravan lights |

Apologies if this has already been covered but here goes...
My new D4 HSE has these daylight running lights which is ok. I just wondered if its normal for these to activate the caravan lights during the day, or should the Van lights only come on only when the auto lights start up at dusk?
Also is it possible to switch off daylight running lights and rely on just the auto lights to switch on at night?
