Towball Height
Any chance someone can measure the height of their towball ( detachable type ) when the suspension is in normal mode
Ive just had a multi-height fixed tow bar fitted and the ball is in it's lowest position which seems a bit too low.
I want to make sure its at a similar height to my old detachable before I collect my caravan from storage

Have mine level with the side braces - to tow a horse trailer and caravan (that's lowest for me but it depends on how you fit the drop plate). Doesn't really matter what others have theirs at. It depends upon what you are towing and the ball needs to be set so that the 'A' frame of the trailer/van is level when not loaded.
Measure the height from the ground to the inside top of the socket on the trailer, whilst supporting it in the level position. Then set your ball to this height.

Trouble is I can't get upto my caravan before we go away to measure the height. All I know is that the height was spot on with the detachable tow bar which is why i was hoping someone could measure theirs as all detachables will be the sameD3 Metropolis Bonatti Grey-Alpaca Leather-adaptive headlights-fridge-EGR blanking kit-Harmen Karden-Cruise-4x4 info enabled-Tinted Windows-Heated F&R Seats-Rosen rear Entertainment-LED'S everywhere -Smoked Side Repeaters-Rear Aircon-Vredestein Wintrac 4 Extreme-Puddle and Footwell Lamps-Stainless Steel Side Protection Tubes- NEW ASHTRAY ( thanks to dsd1036 )
