Audible Alarm Triggers
Gents hope you can help please? My audible alarm keeps going off at randome times causing no end of grief. It happened once before and this site directed me to one of the rear doors that wasn't locking when the key fob was pressed. Changed the actuator and it all worked fine this was 8 months ago so I believe this fault is completely unrelated. I have checked all the doors and they all seem fine.
I have recently bought a Faultmate FCR and I keep getting the following codes;
Hi mate sorry can't assist with your problem but I'm having the same issue with the back doors not locking now and then. Where's the actuator located? How much is a replacement?

Don't now about your fault codes, but I has similar fault and it was the bonnet catch/alarm contact.
Easy enough to test, unplug the cable on the drivers side bonnet catch. Bend a paper-clip into a U and put one end into each of the pin holes and tape it all up. Then see if the alarm still goes off.
A new switch fixed the problem.

Bonnet switch has been shorted out so it can't cause this particular snag. What would make the alarm go off with the doors unlocked?

Silly question, have you tried clearing the fault codes, if so I assume they return? Normally the bong will indicate a message in the driver display but if comms has been lost then I would assume not.
No expert on D3 CANbus or faultmate but others on the forum can hopefully steer you as most capable LR specific tools will let you check I/O on doors etc.. If you have had water on or around the electronics this will cause all sorts of issues..Owning a Discovery 3 is like dating a model.. a firm body and shape, wow.. the ride is fantastic > for this your wallet can take a pounding and you worry about being deflated at any time...
