Switched live?
I'm trying to locate an ignition switched live that goes off the same time as the ignition! I've found one that shuts off 10 - 20 seconds later but i'd like to find one that switches off instantly.........any suggestions?

There are loads of switched lives. Just probe around with a DMM to find one in an area that suits your application and is capable of hosting the additional current. Clearly the 2 or 3 fuse locations are the best place to start.

I hadn't thought of the 12v sockets
At the moment i've used one of the engine bay fuse spaces which is not in use. All I could find in the engine bay switched off around 20 seconds after the ignition though
Also Is there a certain distance I can run cable before I need to up the size? It's a live feed to some Osram DRL/FOG's i've fitted, with a 10amp inline fuse! I want to add a switch for these inside the glovebox so i'll need to run the cable from that area across to the drivers footwell, into the engine bay then back over to near the FBH. Unless there is a route from behind the glovebox through to near the main battery box?!

Checked earlier and the 12v socket comes on in the Aux position, not the last position of the ignition! Back to the drawing board!
