Hi guys just brought two Thule 591 bike racks for roof of d3 I have lr alloy roof bars does anybody know how far apart the roof bars need to be? Question

The racks are adjustable so the exact distance isn't critical, but somewhere around 700-1000mm should be ok.

Doesn't matter. Down to preference. Just make sure you can open the boot if you ut them towards the back. Also lower the car and use the tail gate as a step to get them up there. We had 4 on ours so fiddly
