United Kingdom 2010 Discovery 4 3.0 TDV6 HSE Auto Santorini BlackDiscovery 4

I had the same debate myself, I drove both but much preferred the auto. My D3 is my first ever auto and I'd never have it any other way now!

United Kingdom 2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 S Manual Santorini BlackDiscovery 3

Just my opinion
When I replace our d3 manual next year(after 6 years of ownership) I intend to find the colour and spec I want and whatever box is in it I will happily take as there both good in one way or another

I already have my car preference chosen years before.

I was in 6th year when my car ran down the factory line, the first owner likely ordered it before i passed my driving test. I had "my" spec nailed from then.

It had to be silver, black leather, privacy glass, HSE and auto.

I personally think if you are spending a lot of cash, you may as well spend it on exactly what you want.
Thumbs Up

Ukraine 2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 S Manual Zambezi SilverDiscovery 3

I'm the original owner of my manula D3 bought in March 2005.190K in a manual D3 that has been decatted, remapped and fitted with an up graded inter coooler. Now on clutch number 3 but I do tow and live amongst hills. I love my manual and only bought it becuase my wife refused to drive an auto! Daft thing is she doesn't drive it at all! Laughing

I have owned many auto and manual cars and love both. Positive and negatives both ways. Thumbs Up
