Can't believe I didn't spot this before, but the screenshots from beanie and rockcrawler both show that they are attempting this in private mode, which is what causes the problem!

I am happy to release the workaround as it stands but I'm not sure there is much point adding a full cross-page persistence fix for private mode as switching to standard browsing mode resolves it totally. 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti
Any issues with the site let me know!
