Anyone rebuilt their rear diff?

Mine sounds like the end of the world is nigh. Never really noticed how loud it was, until I realised I could hear the diff over the (loud!) exhaust Embarassed

Drained a but of oil last night, to find small shiny bits in the oil, and bigger chunks stuck to the drain plug

So, has anyone rebuilt one of these as yet? Censored

Mikey. The rear diff is no more difficult to change the bearings as the front diff. Although I guess I answered to late. Whistle
When you swap it out, take the old one apart, you'll see what I mean. Thumbs Up

@ Sly666. Yes it's possible to do with the vehicle supported on axle stands. Ideally you will need a helper and a way of lowering the old diff and raising the new one into position. I used a trolley jack when I did my front diff, I was on my own too. Wink
