D4 2010 V8 hot start pre-ignition

I have noticed that my V8 pre-ignites when starting hot at sea level, but not at 1700 meters above sea level. This means it is over fuelling. When I say 'hot', I mean engine is hot and weather is hot (30 + degrees C). Does not do it when weather is cool (20 degrees)
Can the ECU be reprogrammed to reduce fuelling on start up?
