I would bear in mind in general a service is engine oil and filter, maybe fuel and air if needed and casting a beady eye over things to see whats going to go wrong, its a very expensive oil change.
Magnatec 50 quid tops, genuine oil filter 20 quid?

Yeah, agree.
Could take it to my local independent who does the wife's car and it would probably cost half the reduced price marshals have offered me. They would use Oem parts (not worried about that). I just wanted preferably someone with LR experience to do it...there aren't any nearby Sill protection - LED internal lights - LED reverse lights - boot liner - Dog Guard - Rock sliders

I'm sure that this is not always the case but sometimes the trainees are given the services to do at the main dealer as its a straightforward job. I know a young lad who was on a bonus the quicker he got the cars serviced.SOLD - 23my Range Rover Sport D300 Dynamic SE
Looking to get my third service and MOT, phoned around, dealer on the door step,
£720
Local Indy £540
Another local dealer comes in at £523.50.
Still awaiting one more to come back, but the first two are out.
We need DM to venture much further south.

I paid a fair bit less than £400 with a well-known LR indy in Guildford for a full service with LR parts. They also did some warranty repairs and recalls at the time. I was very happy indeed. The next cheapest LR Indy price I got near Woking was about £450.
