My first guess would be a bottleneck in one of the application tiers or could be a memory leak perhaps I'm not so good at giving advice...may I offer you a sarcastic comment instead?

You too eh Mossy Well, without knowing the sites architecture & specifics it's just a guess But I've run across symptoms like this before. Might be bandwidth, but then I'd be asking why. If there's a bottleneck and/or connections not getting timely released, increasing bandwidth would only serve to delay the real problem.I'm not so good at giving advice...may I offer you a sarcastic comment instead?

I have to say, I got a fair bit of work done this afternoon, I am finishing early now
Maybe if the site were shut down every afternoon for a couple of hours the national productivity would see benefits. 8)

About half an hour ago I got "phpBB : Critical Error
Could not connect to the database " after 20 minutes of trying and failing to connectI know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Bottle - Bottleneck - Neck.
i.e. Cann't get the beer from the Bottle down my Neck quick enough!
Bottlenecks eh?...who needs them!
Do away, that's what I say ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧
