v8 sometimes cuts out when cornering
Hi guys,
My V8 D3 has cut out a couple of times when taking slow corners. First time it started back up straight away, the second time it took about 3 or 4 attempts to get it started. Has slightly less than 1/4 tank of petrol.v
No warning lights or messages. The only issue the car has is an intermittently working fuel gauge, but I don't think that could be related to this problem?
Any ideas?

Probably the fuel gauge.

Thanks for the info
though, sender units have been replaced before but gauge still plays up time to time.

Check your throttle body, it is a known problem with the 4.4 V8 that when the throttle body is dirty it can cause the engine to falter and die at any occasion when you slow down, corners and even when slowing for lights or junctions.
Worth checking it out for a build up of carbon just around the butterfly valve. Give it a clean to remove the build up and see if that helps.
