glow plugs
the glow plug warning light came on in the display in our 2012 D4 on a cold morning (yesterday)and stayed on all morning over a number of journeys. this morning it vanished.
i called the dealer service dept yesterday and they assured me it was down to the cold and would be fine.
The car has done 80000 miles - i wonder if the plugs are actually due for replacement ?
Anyone care to opine ?

If it starts normally at sub zero temperatures you're fine, I wouldn't worry about it unless its struggling to fire up yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

thanks prof.
Reading my post again I should have said that I had noticed that the engine does recently (in the cold weather anyway) seem to take an extra "turn" before firing up - not driven it last few days since it got milder but I guess if it stays that way then it might indicate a problem...?

You should notice easier starting in the milder conditions. See how it goes over the next few days before committing to anything. yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ
