There's a 285/45/19 with a rating of 111W
[had 111 rating on my Conti UHP's]
Don't know if the 45 profile is suitable though?
Al Cope's yer man for that.

Ron

I am about to bite the bullet & buy a set of stormers & i also like the look of the grabbers (& the price), there are no rubbing issues i assume?

What would you say the ride quality is like in comparison to the Conti's?

My only concern is the wife noticing that i have spent even more money on the car, but i'm going to convince her that it's cheaper to buy new wheels & tyres than it is just tyres. Wish me luck!

Sorry Chedarwards, been away for a few days and no recepton for laptop.

No problems at all on the rubbing issue.
Had 295/40 Contis now have 295/45 profile Grabbers.
Grabers give a much smoother ride.
re Swmbo - it is an investment as you can always sell your standard wheels and recoup some of the cost.

for wheels n tyres contact Devon at 0870 7000331
[give me a mention]/

Just remember that fitting non-standard size tyres could invalidate your insurance unless you tell them.

Ron

Just done a deal with your man Devon, i gave him the cheapest price i had managed to obtain & he came back & beat it. I'd rather deal with someone from a recomendation rather than taking my luck via ebay etc.

Many thanks for your assistance & also for the advice on the tyres.

Good stuff Andrew.
The guy always does me a good deal.
Although in Essex, it's worth a trip if remotely near.
Better get ready to 'high five' my man.
Thumbs Up

btw, tell them what pressure you want in tyres [should be the same as standard tyres] as they always inflate too high.

I'm looking at the 20" stormerS for road wheels now i have MTRs waiting for me to scrub out my pirelli's and was wondering how the grabbers are behaving ,how are they wearing and how do they feel compared to your original factory tyres

Still love them and they're wearing well.
Had 1 set 20" Contis and 2 sets 18" Wranglers in past.
Grabbers are best of all.

Geoff

I can only agree with Ron, they are great road tyres & as an added bonus they look great (especially on Stormers). In Tesco's car park today i had 2 other D3 drivers comment firstly on the Stormers & then on the Grabbers.
