Had a Discovery sport for a few days and the sat nav screen seems very similar, few more setting than the model 15 discovery .
Spare wheel protector is standard with the full size spare, seems to be turned with the shiny side facing down now making it harder to remove from under the car"Its as convincing as a Giraffe with sunglass trying to get into a Polarbears only golf club "

Isn't the reason for the spare being turned face side down to accommodate the AdBlue tank?
I also thought that the protector was to prevent the face of the rim being damaged, not as an extra security device, although I guess it helps a bit.

I believe you are correct, the spare has been turned around to allow space for the AdBlue tank.23.5MY Defender 90 X-Dynamic SE D250 MHEV Pangea Green

And also adds to the security .... according to the 'flyer' that came with my MY16 handbook .... apparently there is some steel plate inside to prevent theft? ..... I've not bothered to check it though...2016MY Discovery HSE - Black
