Thanks for the comments. I also noted over the weekend that the SatNav is playing up - when I press the North compass to toggle between views it does SFA, yet the toggle works fine in the second view on the RHS when I select that view.... GRRRRRR!

Toggle view only works when you are in 2D view. If you have lowered the elevation on the view to be more like an aircraft landing view then the toggle North doesnt work. This is normal Neutral

So, what happens if you disconnect the battery positive first OR do NOT wait for the EPB light to go out (assuming that means the car is then in 'sleep' mode)?
