Just had my 1st service done. I chose Yeovil because of all the good feedback from here and must say that this is the first time I have ever had a service that was LESS than I was originally quoted (ended up as £239.99 inc. VAT) - thanks guys!
Douglas in the Service Dept. couldn't have been more helpful.

Another for Yeovil. Went to see Nick on Friday and had a rear ladder fitted. Really friendly team with an obvious love of the brand. I'll be seeing them when my 2nd service comes up (and for the odd accessory in the meantime, I'm sure).
I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Cheers Nick I dropped by Yeovil today to collect a wheel and tyre that Nick had sorted for me 8) As ever Yeovil rock. Captain Nick Medhurst would ask:
"What is the first rule when overlanding?"
I would Reply:
"Duratrac"

Very helpful sales staff too. Took an extended test drive of a new TD4 90 at the weekend and will be ordering through them as a result. Very nice people, relaxed environment and good coffee too. I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Just booked my car in for a service (and a few very minor warranty issues) next monday as we are on the mainland staying with the mother-in-law; AKA the Beast of Exmoor!
Having spoken with Nick a few weeks ago to order towbar electrics, and now talking with a guy in the service department, I must say they all sound very friendly and pleasant.

Well the service is complete and, wow, what service and what a friendly bunch of people. Many thanks to Nick (good to meet him in person!) and also to the service department. Thanks also to the forum members who recommended Yeovil Land Rover.

Because of services rendered [with the excellent service given by Nick], AND the genorous discount given to D3 forum members, I reckon YLR should receive FREE Site Sponsorship!!
After all it doesn't cost anybody, anything!!
Is that OK then Martin??
Praise be Nick!! ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

Although they don't have a banner, due to the frequent mentions Nick gets thanks to his generous discounts they effectively get free sponsorship, I doubt the paying sponsors would be best please if it was any more than that The End
