There is an over bracket for the steel bumper heavy and well made
Vibration (remember this one is going to Morocco this year so it was a consideration)
Possible to remove swing away although would not recommend it bearings etc

OK, let's firm up on the orders then
OK guys 'n gals, I think Ken answered all the questions for us, and the answers we got from Rasta concur with what he said. Thanks for that, Ken.
Rasta will send a couple of spare rubber bits in case we have any issues, and have confirmed that the carrier part of the unit can be removed in about 5 minutes if need be.

Baben I'm out . If you see my earlier post in this thread , I only have 800 mm clearance between the car and the trailer

OK I have confirmed that we can get the units in for about R8550 incl VAT and shipping if the $ doesn't change too much. Will order once I have 5 takers or more

OK - Catweasel suggested I should measure the distance to the trailer if the car is at a 45 degree angle to the left . I will do this , this weekend and hopefully I will also be back in .
Maybe you could convince Karl to buy one or two ?

Nope, you are still in time. We had a bit of a delay waiting for Rasta to come back with a fixed price for 5 units. Just waiting for Atacama, I think, then we have 3. If you and Heine wanna play we have 5. No answer from Tino (G4), Wayne (FR) or Karl (BRS) yet.

no problem once its fitted we can get together. As i mentioned previously not a problem for me anyway as i would probably not use the carrier with the trailer
