LR technician has applied patch and forced a purge. All clear and 20 min test drive to confirm.
Hopefully it's sorted.

As said in my previous post the problem was solved by a software patch. Have now done 7000 miles since this patch without any further messages.

Well, mine's just flagged this fault up tonight after a 200 mile journey. Car has just hit 3500 miles and is a MY16.5 Landmark, built in April this year, so going to assume the car already has the later software update and sensors I've read about?
Anyone else had this fault on the latest D4? Will call Landrover assistance tomorrow and see what happens.

Just had the same error message. Some 2.5k mikes after the DEF was topped up at its first service(dealer).
I'll call LR and get them to come to my office tomorrow. Hopefully! 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

A LRA technician came to my office yesterday and downloaded 3 new patches or whatever they're called. Drove it for 20 minutes to relearn itself and all is well.
Much easier than going to a dealer.  2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE
2010 D4 HSE (A bit bling)-GONE
2014 D4 HSE (Almost too bling)-GONE
2015 D4 HSE (A heated what?)-GONE
2016 D4 Landmark (Written Off)-GONE
