Steve, <apologies - I did do a quick search 1st and didn't see this being answered anywhere> ... can I be really lazy and ask you (or anyone else that's been through the pain) to tell me if there is a kit / list of bulbs I can just buy from you - for a 2010 D4 (HSE)?
I'd like to do all of the interior bulbs, reverse bulbs (possibly number plate light too).
I'd have liked to do sidelights - but I have the fairy-light headlights and non-adaptive, non-cornering Xenon's so don't think there's anything I can do front-wise?
I'd like the reverse lights to be extremely bright as I use the fob-function to light up the garage after I've parked up. Better yet, they'll hopefully light up the garage as I'm reversing it in.
Interiors to be bright but not stupidly bright if that makes sense? I don't want any more yellowy bulbs though a softer white for the interior LED's would be nice if that doesn't compromise the light output.
I especially want the rear load-space / boot light LED's to be as bright as possible - the standard level of light with any Car manufacturer in the boot - always annoyed me; you could barely ever see anything in there plus, they usually located the lamps to one side - so the smallest thing would block what was there anyway
Anyways - love there to be a list / kit of all the interior, reverse and possibly no. plate lights.
Many thanks

The interior light ones are so bright you have to be careful not to look at them. When you unlock the car at night it looks like one of those staged TV/magazine shots where the whole the car is lit from inside.
You genuinely can see everything in the car when they are on.
I don't even have the latest and greatest reverse bulbs but they are still bright enough to see to shut the gates 20m away.IID PRO

Sounds
Are all of the interior bulbs the same? Which are they?
There is a list of bulbs on Steve's site but I'm unsure if these are the ones that are at the beginning of the post or not - I'd like the brightest ones for the reverse lights and sounds like what you're saying is I'll have no issues with regard to the boot lights!

Certainly on D3s all the interior bulbs are 501 types. No idea on facelifted models.

Hi Mike - yer, I sent Steve a PM (after my initial post) as that raised more q's, like how many, which are brightest where there's an option etc.
Also, think those reverse bulbs (which are not in that list) may not be in stock - as there's no "add to basket" option...& of course don't know if they're good for the D4 or not...
P.s. Your Disco is same colour as mine - wasn't a fan pre-purchase - but it's grown on me - nice colour!

They look great...
Yes, I have puddle lights under doors (thought they were on wing mirrors originally - only when Bodsey pointed them out - I was .."Ah, there they are!".. Probably had them on my D3, but I never upgraded my bulbs on my D3.
So, yer, I'm hoping someone can say .. you need 10 x blah, 6 x blah 4 x blah & 2 x blah - so I can just order them all up at once and not have to take every lens off, forget any or get some wrong!
There's a seller on fleabay selling D4 kits but I'd like to go with experience and recommendations from you guys & a seller that's known here too!

501s 4 in external lights, 14 internal. I thinks as car's a few hundred miles away so can't look.
I bought cheap as chips 50p bulbs from eBay so some flicker and put the originals back in the number plate lights (flickered) and side lights (too blue for MOT).

Thanks
I was just out looking at it then.. As you say, there's 14 including the glove box internally (god knows how' the glove box one comes out!?) which includes the puddle lights.
The number plate has 2 x 501-type as well.
This takes me to one of the questions; so are the new / LED bulbs capable of lighting downward when they're located on their side? The interior courtesy lights (row 1 & 2) are down-shining lamps so I think are easy.
The glove box, puddle's, 2 manually switchable ones (for 6&7th seat's) boot + number plate ones are all mounted horizontally (& no reflectors) - & so not downward facing - so does that mean I need a different type of 501 LED bulb? If so / not, are they as bright as a result??
The reverse lights aren't 501's (but Steve post probably says that - I just can't see it as I write this)..
Questions, questions

Pointing the "wrong way" doesn't seem to be a problem for me, big improvement over the filament ones.

Cheers
I missed the footwell lights - which I think, there's only driver and passenger (not rear's) unless someone is going to correct me?
