I'm pretty sure that I read a thread mentioning that a power outlet can be fitted to the rear of the centre storage box/coolbox.I've tried a search but didn't pull up anything.Anyone got any directions ?

Yes, mine has one here, and there's also one for the third row seats, at the left hand side below the storage bin. IE - 05 D3 TDV6 HSE - Zambezi Silver
SA - 07 VW Golf TDI - White - Sold!

Yep, it is possible to order the parts £30 something for the parts. wiring is already there for the outlet just not the aux outlet that is there on some models.
Can't find the thread, but will have another look later "To finish first, one first has to finish ...."

Yeah I added one to mine, simple to do, just order the parts from Nick at Yeovil LR with the usual discount and follow the instructions and plug it in.  2004 Discovery 3 - gone

Yep have the rear 3 rd row aswell Bren ( Remember it's taken up with the rear pdc's  )
