Should 'voice' work
3 months into very happy my11 XS ownership but just noticed that when I press 'voice' sod all happens, should it work or is it an 'extra'?

Extra .. Can be enabled though G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Hello,
I have got a D4 SE, the Voice button is also in my steering wheel.
Who is able to encode it? What Do I need?

It always seemed odd to me they would leave a working button for something you then couldn't use!
To make it work you need to enable it or have it enabled by a suitable diagnostic tool such as the IID one, but others are available.
I have enabled mine, tried it twice and decided it wasn't really worth the bother. The system in my previous none Land Rover was much better, but even then I only used that occasionally.
But at least the button now works so that for me is a plus and it does have a notes option which could be useful.Andy
