United Kingdom 2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 S Manual Java BlackDiscovery 3

On this trail of thought. I'm thinking about taking / giving gift voucher for my dad to do an 4x4 since he's been so involved in me buying my d3 and its his 50th this year. Suggestions on where to get gift voucher or places to go north west not got a huge budget (d3 owner now so it's taking all my cash)

Got my experience at Dunkeld next Saturday, got to take two guests but pay for lunch for them. In discovery 4 and my son who is seven is going as long as I provide a booster seat. Can't wait and Verity has been in contact as I initially asked where voucher was and she later confirmed everything has come through. Weekends are booked abit in advance but weekdays are not so busy.

Well did my experience day at Dunkeld. Lovely cabin on loch where you start which is lovely. Went out in discovery 4 and really impressed what it can do. Murray there did a great job explaining things especially when your no good at left and rights. Okay cars there are hse lux so has all cameras etc and had a great time. Cannot believed the car went over things which I was unsure. Can't fault the place and they do adventure treks too with own motor as green laning no allowed here but not quite sure if I could scratch motor yet as not long had here.

+1 for Eastnor.

It is the old test ground for LR steeped in history and I've been a few times, just a lovely place Smile.

Dan.

Has anyone done their adventure treks as you use own car? They use Pirelli zero m+s tyres and I have continental cross contact without m+s symbol on them. Are these any good off road? Still got decent tread on them at so not wanting to change them just now for at tyres.Love the idea going as not got same green laning as england

[quote="IanT599"]Has anyone done the one in Scotland?

I have done Dunkeld (perth) in a FL2 in morning and D4 in afternoon.
You have to work harder to read terrain in the FL2 and there is only 1 section it cant do due to ruts.
Found the D4 too easy in the afternoon.

Eastnor is still the best.

Eastnor. Got everything and home of LR testing.
I know a good B&B and a pub that serves Wye Valley HPA and wood fired pizzas in walking distance Thumbs Up
Both in town and off street parking at B&B
