My Tomtom works fine and it's mounted in the middle at the bottom of the screen.
I used to mount it near the bottom right corner but was concerned that it would become a projectile if the A-pillar airbag went off.MY12 D4 HSE Ipanema Sand

Had no problems tonight using my iPhone. Positioned it in the far right corner as suggested. Need to do some more testing I think.Discovery 4 HSE Luxury Santorini MY12

My iPhones have always been mounted with a Brodit mount just left of the steering wheel with no GPS issues.

If it's caused by the same thing as in my previous 2 work vans. It's something in the windscreen that's there to help thermal efficiency, ie keep heat out and cool in. Apparently it was only a problem with the vans with A/C, as they had this particular windscreen fitted. I always ended up attaching my Tom Tom to the door quarter-light. Also, the black dotted area by the rear view mirror doesn't have this 'coating'. The Severnbridge TAG company tell you to fit the TAG in the dotted area, as the signal isn't blocked
