Another Lesson Learned

The pillar popped off & broke the clips on the trek home from Virginia. Found another use for duct tape.

It was caused by an installation fault, the gentleman that fit the air intake drilled the holes a tad too big. Shoulda had LR fit it Big Cry

Any suggestions to repair or do I crawl to LR and have them laugh at me? Laughing

I'm not so good at giving advice...may I offer you a sarcastic comment instead?

Just use slightly bigger rivnuts and bolts
I replaced my top ones with 8mm fittings (standard is 6mm) to get a better fixing

I'm fitting my RAI this weekend. Does this mean I have to use my rivnut tool and not the chewing gum I'd been keeping on the bedpost?
I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
