You will love it, I did one many years ago with my dad using a 300tdi Defender and one more recently with my father-in-law in an Evoque following his purchase of one.
What they can do off-road is very impressive and I have to say the Evoque was very good, even though it had to miss out the deep water section.Andy

My wife and I have just done one at the Solihull venue, and the D4 was very impressive, plus we learnt about a few features ( in their D4) that we didn't realise we had on ours! However, at the end of the afternoon the E.P.B. Had given up the ghost! I guess it didn't like all the deep water. Overall we were tremendously impressed with what a D4 can do, and whilst we're unlikely to treat our own one like that, it's nice to know we could if we had to.
I'd recommend the experience to everyone.

I'll be interested to hear what the new Skipton set up is like and as said you will certainly enjoy it and be amazed at what your vehicle is capable of. Also try and remember what the instructor is telling you for when you need to put it into action on your own Cheers Ian

Well in the end I took a friend with me as we had sitter issues!
It is very 'new'. The actual office is a gorgeous barn, with coffee and tea facilities. We were looked after By Kevin who we learnt was the head man and seemed to have been very instrumental in the new design. As yet it is very new, but certainly entertaining! No water (it is coming) but plenty of opportunity to see how my vehicle works! I was even allowed to do the big drop!
Rest assure you will have fun, but if you can wait, it might be best waiting until the winter to have some real fun!
I am just not very patient!
