Mine worked fine. Now using a HTC Tytn that isn't so good.
I do find with the Tytn (and I think the SE was the same too sometimes) that you have to initiate an outgoing call from the mobile before the bluetooth works properly each time you get in the car. Otherwise, it doesn't always connect on incoming calls.

Hi, I use an MDA vario which has been upgraded via the XDA developers site, as with all HTC/Windows based phones it is hit and miss. I have used the trick of doing an outgoing call to get them to speak, someimes it works osmtimes it doesn't. I have even had it where if I try to use the dial name command it says there is no phone connected but if I dial using the dial number command it dials.

PS the P990 is reporting that the phone isn't receiveing a signal, but is talking to the disco.

If any one comes across a PDAphone that symbian based but has a ull qwerty keyboard like the vario please post it here ta!

What about the Nokia E61 - It is symbian, has a querty keyboard and is very happy speaking to the Disco.

Personally I prefer the extra functionality of WM5 though.

I think that’s the phone Mossy uses, along with a Bluetooth MP3 streamer, very clever. 8)
Brute force and ignorance, the D3 does the rest.

E61, works a treat. Thumbs Up

Just looking at getting the E61i in a couple of weeks. Anyone have one of those working OK? I assume it will be fine.

SWMBO's E61 is actually an E61i - it works very well.

I put a Parrot 3100 kit in my daughter's Polo yesterday and boy is it good. It even transferred the phone book and call lists from my O2 Orbit that won't speak to the Disco.

Next time, I'll get a Parrot fitted!
