Planning to change diff oils this weekend but...
Had a service done by Geoff earlier this year and he obviously had several weetabix for breakfast as the undersheild bolts were well tight, to the point where one (with nut on) has rounded off so will need replacing providing I can get it off.
Bought a set of Irwin bolt removers so should get sorted this weekend but wondered if anyone know what size the bolts are as I will need to order a set of replacements as not 100% happy with their condition.
Advice appreciated.

Go for stainless steel replacements. Take one of your old ones into any good fastenings supplier and they will give you what you need. You will probably need some new anchor clips as well. Make sure they are well greased before you put the new ones in. This will help next time you replace them.

The M10s have a 1.5mm thread. I know coz I had to drill one out and chase the threads with a tap. The bolts are quite soft, so the standard torque is a lowly 62 Nm (46 lbf ft). They catch all the salt water off the road, so butter them up with copper grease before refitting. If you do substitute stainless bolts, remember to check their maximum torque, as they're softer, still.
Now you have the Irwins, use them before the head gets rounded off. In most cases the bolt will then be reusable.  Went for a job as a human cannonball. Not the right calibre.

Just ordered some new bolts from Rimmer Bros as no idea when I will be able to get to a bolt supplier. Also PM'd Metal Monster Junk as have no gearbox undertray fitted and hope they have one laying about.
Actually looking forward to getting some jobs done on the D3 this weekend and hope to giove it a thorough polish as heading to Cornwall next week and need some protection from the gull poo.
