Annoying ding-sound

Is it possible to get rid of the annoying sounds for "key in ignition" and "seatbelt"??

But will the ding-sound go away, or will it reset itself if I stop the car??

No, the seatbelt chimes will not come back unless you do the procedure again.

Key in ignition is so annoying. We aren't used to them on this side of the pond. I believe that the key in ignition warning has been standard on US vehicles for many years. As to why, I've no idea?
I recently noticed that there appears to be an option on the latest IID tool update to disable the key bong. I did try this option to disable it, but the bong remains. It would be fantastic if Gap could kill the stupid key bong.

Have tried with all the diagnostic tools, to kill the "Key In" warning, but none of them will do it.

Look on the bright side, it will stop your battery from going flat Wink
