unreliable ac on hot day... |
|
I've just had my AC condenser replaced and fully re-gassed but I'm getting very odd AC results, 20c outside yesterday and my AC was blowing hot air down the motorway when climate was set to 16... a few minutes later it came to life, then hot air, then worked again....
tested the refrigerant levels and it was full... any ideas???

I had a similar issue with mine. My AC was working fine but the blender motor was sticking. My IID did give me a fault for both blender motors. I managed to "fix" mine with a quick spray of WD40. The fault reoccurring once more after the WD40 was applied. After clearing the fault a second time, all was ok. It's been fine for over 6 months now. Best to get a diagnostic on it to identify the fault. Freelander SE 2005 Auto.
