Underbody wiring / trunking

Good evening

i have been tackling the absolute horror of a job that is replacing the air tank on the passenger side. i imagine it wouldnt have been a too bad job if the bolts werent rusted to hell!

anyway, whilst tinkering on I noticed there is rather chunking plastic tubing running along the chassis rail next to the air tank, it seems to have an air tube tied to it and runs along the chassis rail, tucked up behind the air tank

anyone know what this chunky trunking contains? when drilling out an old rusted bolt i accidentally knicked it and damaged the exterior plastic. ive taped it for now but just wondering if its electrical etc..

from what i can see just looks like another air pipe or some sort of hydraulic cable?

any help appreciated.

It's the entire wiring harness for the rear. As long as you didn't damage the wiring itself, it'll be fine. Most of that plastic tunnelling disintegrates over time anyway, especially after the air pump. Give it a damn good wrap with tape and all should be fine.

Just to add, when I've repaired mine in the past, I've always used a different colour so if I run into any problems later, I know where to start.

I rewrapped my entire loom over winter and did away with a lot of the tunnelling in exchange for ridiculous amounts of tape.
