| Steering controls - right side only |
|
All three controls on the right hand side of the steering wheel do not work. I have stripped the airbag off and steering wheel to expose all the wiring and done a full continuity check including the clock spring. I’ve even tested the switches on the circuit board and all appears okay. My next step is to remove the centre console and do a continuity check between the loom under the steering column and the rear of the stereo head unit.
Have any of you good folk had any similar experience and or suggestions?

I'm sorry to tell you that I had exactly the same, and it didn't get put right until I changed the head unit for other reasons.

There are several different head units depending on the spec of the car, but the model number is printed on the front of the unit.

Hi,
I have the steering controls and it worked fine with them for the 3 months I used them before fitting an aftermarket head unit.
