Had the Amber warning intermittently for a while but now a full time companion so new compressor needed .
Trouble is I'm in Liverpool and need to get back to Northampton, manual says ok to drive without special programs.
Q. Am I going to damage anything by driving 150 miles with the amber warning on like that?
Many thanks,

I work on my own so used to talking to myself. The answer to the above question, should anyone find themselves in the same situation is RED suspension warning light and big yellow taxi.

If it's only Amber and your nerves can stand it, you should be OK.
If you clear the code using your IID tool, how long before it comes back ?
Another option, if the air system itself is OK and you do not have any issues with the car lowering itself (leaky valve block or similar), you could remove the fuse.
Obviously wouldn't want to thrash it along - personally I'd stick to no more than 50 mph

Comedy car recovered to the dog house after persistent red warning light. It would clear for a minute or 2 but soon reverted to amber and red. I was in the wife's Cleo today but will have a good look at it over the weekend.
Not sure if it needs compressor or if its something else. This live value was given on level ground while I was waiting for the BYT.
Knackered strut? Do they need to be replaced in pairs like the brakes?
Cheers,
Tony
