Removable tow bar V Alko stabiliser hitch

One of my customers has just bought a D3.
He has a caravan with a new type 'Alko stabiliser hitch' fitted.
Thing is, he was told that he cann't use the removable tow bar because of this type of hitch!!
He needs something more extended!
I tow a caravan with the 'old fashoined' hitch on my removable bar with no problems!!
Has he been ill advised?

Yes he can tow with an alko. The hitch is wider than a normal hitch so the fixed ball towbars need to be longer necked, but swan necks are fine.

Sorry Pelyma, just to clarify; does he need a different removable tow hitch?
[or is it just with the 'fixed' other towbars?
thanks
