If it knows all that kind of why the can't it part with the information at more convenient times. Just before starting would be handy, just after stopping the engine probably handy too.26 and on the 4th LR..

You can if you want by an extra set of button presses, otherwise to get the most accurate measurement it's with hot oil, around 10 mins after shutdown as per the normal button presses.

FYI, the new Ingenium engine DOES have a dipstick.
