Got a "clanking" sound coming from the rear on rough roads/ground at low speed. Sounds like a metal bar rattling in the back of the car...no actual symptoms in terms of ride, or faults etc....
Based on searching on there is this likely the ARB bushes? Is there any easy way to confirm this?
Just wondering if I should go ahead and replace these in the first instance as it's relatively cheap to do. (and they havent been done to my knowledge).

Just push up and down on the anti roll bar near to the bush you will soon know if they need replacing the bar will move easily, you can shim them to tighten them up for awhile, a vortex socket and long handle worked best when I replaced mine soak the bolts well first with a penetrating oil.

I had a rear knocking and initial thoughts were that it was the rear ARB bushes but when I took both rear wheels off to check I couldn't feel any movement on the anti roll bar itself. But as they are straight forward for a novice like me to change, and cheap to do, I changed them anyway and found that the noise was no longer there so a result!
Yours does sound like the ARB's especially as you have no other symptoms other than the noise. MY15 D4 SDV6 HSE Corris Grey - Gone
