screech on wheel turn
Need some advise.
Was parking my car so dropped suspension to access height. On full lock my car made a loud screech. Never heard it before or since. Should I be worried.
Any advise appreciated

Yeah. Don't fall over yourselves guys. Worked it out myself. Use the search on forum and claim on warranty.

Did you also apply the parking brake at the same time?

And was it a screech or a creak? Mine sometimes creaks when I change the suspension height with the brakes on. I think it's just the pads/shoes grinding slowly on the disc/drum as the suspension geometry changes slightly. Nothing to worry about.
Forgive my ignorance, too, but is there a mechanical limit to how much the knuckle can turn at full lock? If so, perhaps this grinds slightly when squatting down
A screech, however... Went for a job as a human cannonball. Not the right calibre.

in access height suspension settles into cups in the wishbones...if cups are dry ...some grinding can be heard....if you put the handbrake on it could be linings screeching and need clean adjust

I don't think jameel has recovered the thrown teddies after not getting a quick answer.
A lot of us try to answer technical questions, but we cannot be everywhere and forum membership is supposed to be a 2-way street….
