United Kingdom 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Manual Buckingham BlueDiscovery 3
[Sold] Abbey Iona Vogue 2 berth Caravan

Plenty of you who know lots about these on here (I'm not one of them) so forgive any omissions...

This is my late grandfather's caravan, my Dad is dealing with the sale so I can forward questions on

2000 model year Abbey Iona Vogue 2 berth Caravan built as a high specification 2 berth that was light weight but fully fitted.

60 litre Electrolux fridge
Four ring gas hob and large oven
Thetford cassette toilet
Shower
Solid Ash frames to all cabinet doors
Double glazing, fly screens and roller blinds on all windows
TV aerial and booster
12v battery and built in battery charger
240volt hook up with three fitted 240v sockets and halogen lighting
Porch awning
Carver Rapide gas/electric water heating
Carver 2000 space heater

Alko galvanized chassis and anti-snake tow hitch, glassfibre front and rear panels.

Fully insulated to grade 2 for cold weather use.

It has had an electric caravan mover system fitted that allows you to manoeuvre it from a remote control once it is uncoupled from the car.

Very nice condition. Not been used for 2 years so could do with a service and a check over. It has been regularly aired, and heated over the winter, there is no damp and no smokers and no pets.

5 metres long and only 960kg fully laden, so very easy to tow.

Looking for £2,500.

Located near Leamington Spa, Warwickshire

I KNOW it's a bargain too. Just too far above my budget. It looks extremely smart and looked after Thumbs Up when it's sold, which it will be, I will be annoyed Laughing
 Captain Nick Medhurst would ask:
"What is the first rule when overlanding?"

I would Reply:

These are absolutely cracking caravans. Built by Swift, and essentially a version of the GTS Vogue. What makes the Iona stand out is its narrow width and lighter weight. I did a review on one of these and a similar caravan a while ago for a national publication (both caravans were used), and was amazed at how spacious they were, to say nothing of being so well equipped.

Someone will get a bargain with this one as it really does look immaculate! Good luck with the sale.

Edit: Sorry - just realised its not a separate shower. Apologies. Great buy for someone!

Edit2: Maybe it would work actually. I guess the first question is… is it still available and secondly, where is it located?
