Breathalizers and at least have the headlight stickers with you!
Have fun!
I thought the breathalizer thing had been scrapped a while ago ?. At least the fine being imposed was postponed indefinitely.
You need to be careful not to have a GPS with speed camera warnings or at least have them switched off
Never drove in france what's the GPS bit all about ??

But TomTom now warn you about "safety zones" as opposed to camera sites as a way of getting round it. They are one and the same but legal.

After you check in you drive to the passport booths as they did before. There didn't seem to be much of a change to be honest.

I'm sure it will be okay but has been giving me nightmares - it's only the entry bit once I'm in i know the 27ft behind will be following
YouTube even helped as I have driven on there so many times with the D3 and D4 -before we owned a caravan
Don't be afraid to put one front wheel back out of the train on the other platform to give you enough swing to get the 'van in

Made it with no problems - the checks were not really happening with the passports as we were just waved through - I think 100% starts in June
Boarding was easy as everyone said

Came back yesterday - they are now holding everyone in a holding carpark as the uk border checks are holding things up when busy. One bloke lost it with a french eurotunnel official and in the ensuing argument tried to drive into him as he blocked his way. Monsieur gendarme was called...
we got there at 16.20 for a crossing at 17.50 - eventually got away on the 18.36. not too bad, but will be worse today.
and I forgot I had sunroof open so i touched the height barrier even in access mode (I was booked on the standard height as no room in high vehicles) so I dived into high vehicles and got on anyway. Ooops. 2006 TDV6 HSE Wrapped Matt Black STOLEN NOT RECOVERED
we came back yesterday and expected the usual chaos - went through the pet control and then was told to go left and join the holding area but then was let through as we had a caravan - was booked on the 16.50 and actually left at 17.06 so wasn't too bad in the endD4 2010 HSE Santorini Black

We're all the UK passport desks open? Always pi55es me off when there are mega queues in really busy times and there are only two or three lanes open. What's the point in spending all that money on the new booths & x-Ray scanners if they are never going to be used? Looks good when things are quiet but sweet f-all use when it's busy.
