Driving home last night and noticed a loud buzzing noise coming from the front of the car. On inspection the upper windscreen trim strip had popped out but was still attached at both door pillar ends (see photo below). Pushed it back into place and all seems fine but I'm concerned that the water-tightness of the windscreen surround has been compromised. The car is only 3 months old and there have been no windscreen repairs. Any thoughts or comments gratefully received. Thanks, John.

I too have had to push (thump!) this back in place but no leaks - and that was nearly a year ago. Hope you have a similar result 2010 D4 HSE Ipanema Sand on GY DTs (was on GG ATs)

Mine came loose yesterday on the peage in France. Half of it came off, so it was hanging back along the roof. Stopped and pushed it back on and got home. Is there anything that is supposed to hold it on?d4 HSE

Service action Q561 (search for it on here) deals with this isjsue. Get in touch with your dealer who will check it with feeler gauges for gap size and re-bond where necessary. Just make sure they make a decent job of the bonding as someone on here put up a pic of theirs once it had been re-bonded and it was awful.MY15 D4 SDV6 HSE Corris Grey - Gone
