We need a new awning, any advice
Our dorema awning has seen its best after 4 years on a seasonal pitch, I can't complain.
We're now looking for a new one, it's still going to be left up all year round. We're tempted by the inaca ones. Size is 1075.
Has anybody had any experience with the Inaca awnings or can offer any advice

I had an Inaca on my last caravan. I did buy a new set of lightweight fibreglass poles for it. A couple of the zips did fail, but apart from that it was OK.
No better, or worse than the Bradcott I got with our current caravan.

Isabella seems popular, yes it will be left up all year round. What's the thought on poles? Is it best to stick with steel, any opinions on fibreglass poles for leaving up all year round?
Its by the coast and wind does pickup. 2 years ago we had a phone call as storms had bent the steel poles
We have a Dorema awning - they only thing that's been a bit of a pain is the zip ends ( ). Fiberglass poles make the world of difference when putting it up but, naturally, they don't have the flexibility of steel. Can't pass any real judgement on ours as it only goes up about twice a year (our old caravan basically serves as a true "tintent" and that's it ) Current: Discovery 3 06MY (55 reg) HSE Auto Zambezi Silver Allisport Fast Road Intercooler, V8 Brakes, Silicone IC Hoses, EGRs Blanked, Remapped, De-Cat pipe, FBHIC

Dorema are pretty good. We have just brought a smaller (bigger than Porch though) awning that's inflatable in park. Quite impressed actually! Can't remember the brand though! Black D4 December 2014

Mine has survived force 8 gales and more when lesser awnings were shredded, get some storm and typhoon straps and put it up properly it will be fine. My first awning was a Dorema Scirocco, it was a nice enough awning but the zips started going after a couple of years, I changed to an Isabella 9 years ago and it is still perfect, they give great customer service too and sell any parts you might break, they will even alter the awning to fit your caravan.DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

my fibre poles have stood up well through the high winds we've had since March.
they seem to have more strength before failing than the steel ones but obviously won't bend back once gone!XC90 T8 R Design Pro
