[For Sale] Detent Repair Circlip
Do you have a manual gearbox and have trouble finding gears? If yes then normally this is associated with a broken or worn detent circlip.
A well known parts specialist sell the repair circlips for £13.
I have sourced an identical circlip that I have fitted to my manual gearbox. The gear selection is now very positive.

Excellent price and a service many manual owners will find invaluable.
I don't believe there's a How To on the forum, but it has been discussed a few times.
I presume this not only resolves reverse selection issues but also fixes sloppy stick syndrome too?Mods:

It has made the gear stick less floppy and my circlip wasn't broken, I can only assume it was worn.
I will write a 'How to Guide'. when I get time. It is a relatively simple job.

Only tools required are a 14mm hex key and a set of circlip pliers.
It can be accessed from the drivers side wheel arch without removing panelling. I will try and write a 'How to Guide' by the end of the week.
