| MY12 Sat Nav & Phone Issue |

Hopefully someone can assist before I take the car into the dealers.
I was driving along the motorway today on the phone (handsfree!) and the phone disconnected from the bluetooth and the speakers made a very loud tone for about 10-15 seconds, an error message popped up but didn't get to read it (saw something about Apple and usb???) then the sat nav froze and stopped showing the current location. The phone has reconnected and is working but the sat nav is not working correctly. When I stopped and restarted the car the map would update the location but would stay frozen, also a message quickly popped up saying climate off (which it wasn't)
Is there a reset for the sat nav system I can try?

I'd start by disconnecting the battery and shorting the cables to each other for 20 seconds (assuming you don't have a second battery!). A full reset may help you fix the problem. if it doesn't fix it, then perhaps some fault codes read as the description sounds as though something has gone pop. Bodsys Brake Bible
