I can't see why they couldn't have programmed a LARGE clock that appears there when there's nothing else to display...

Fl2 has a screen saver that is a clock, it works well, but not if you don't have sat nav!

Had a FL2 for the day whilst the D3 was in to get an aircon hose reconnected. The Sat-nav there has a fantastic screen saver clock (as well as several other useful functions not in the D3). Anyone know whether you can get a software update to the D3 Satnav to include the screen-saver? Would be a fantastic addition as the radio-based clock in my MY06 isn't displayed when I'm on the phone - which is most of the way home up the M40 most times.

Scary, shockwave is able to read the timezone off my computer. What else does it have access to?

Anything would keep better time than the useless digital clock on the D3!
.............. I noticed when I first got my D3, that the useless digital clock lost about 1.5 minutes a month..............dealers response was ....'this is within LR tolerances'.........WHAT A COCK!......is this common, or do some actually keep good time?
